2017 LAKOTA BIGHORN 8417 LIVING QUARTERS “SLIDE” 4 HORSE TRAILER

For sale is a 2017 Lakota Bighorn Edition 8417 VIN# 58JGB4K23H1000745, four horse gooseneck trailer with spacious 17 foot short wall living quarters and a large slide out. Trailer is approximately 43 feet 6 inches long, 8 feet wide, with a GVWR of 21,105 lbs. This is one of Lakota’s premium Bighorn Edition models, featuring aluminum construction, spacious living quarters, front gooseneck sleeping area, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, roof mounted one air conditioner, beautiful real wood cabinetry, and plenty of storage throughout. The rear four horse compartment features individual stall dividers, ventilation, interior lighting, and convenient loading access. Trailer also comes equipped with a electric awning with LED lighting, dual front hydraulic jacks, fully enclosed front gooseneck cover protecting the propane tank compartment, heavy duty tandem axles, exterior storage compartments, and much more. All major systems have been inspected, tested, and are working properly. Trailer is roadworthy and ready for use. Please see all pictures on our eBay listing.

The trailer has a Tennessee salvage title due to previous damage to the upper right side damage underneath the awning. Approximately one and a half aluminum exterior wall panels were damaged along with the awning arm. The trailer was towed on its own wheels from Tennessee to Sacramento, California, before any repairs were performed, without any issues. The damaged exterior panels were replaced, and the aluminum framing inside the affected wall was professionally straightened and reinforced. The damaged awning arm was also replaced. There was no damage to the main trailer frame, chassis, axles, or gooseneck structure. All repairs have been completed, and everything is functioning properly. Please note that all of the vinyl upholstery on the dinette cushions and recliners is peeling, which is a very common issue with RV furniture of this age due to deterioration of the original vinyl material. Both the dinette cushions and recliners currently have covers over them. Please see pictures at the very end of the listing showing the original damage before repairs. Trailer may have some miscellaneous minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with its age and previous use. Please review all pictures carefully. Trailer is now located in Sacramento California and for sale by a dealer that specializes in branded titles RVs with over 12 years of experience.

Trailer is currently not registered. All California buyers must pay applicable sales tax, which varies by residency. Out of state buyers may qualify for an exemption from California use tax by providing proof they took delivery outside the state, either a BOL or notarized form ($350 fee).
